Searching

An intermediate Internet class. For those already familiar with the Internet,
learn how search engines and subject guides can save you time and help guide
your Internet searching. Researching specific topics related to health, travel,
and government information will also be covered. Prerequisites: Some
experience with using a mouse and ability to work in a “Windows” environment.

This class includes an informative tour of the library as well as instruction on
using the library’s online catalog. This is an excellent opportunity to
become better acquainted with the amazing array of library materials, resources
and services. Whether you are brand new to the community or a long-time resident
of the area, “Library 101” promises to help you get better acquainted with your
