Presented by the Thousand Oaks Library Teen Advisory League (TOTAL) and Children’s Services Librarians of the Grant R. Brimhall Library. Come join us for a special night of reading! Preschoolers and Kindergartners will hear stories about libraries, read by TOTAL teens. 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders can practice their reading skills by sharing books and reading aloud to TOTAL teens. Simple crafts, activities and fun for all!

Gene Perret, Author and Emmy-winning comedy writer

Join us for a fun and informative afternoon with Gene Perret, known as the guru of comedy writing. He earned three Emmy Awards for his work on The Carol Burnett Show. He wrote for Bob Hope from 1969 until the performer’s retirement, serving the last 15 years as his head writer. He has also written jokes for comedians such as Phyllis Diller, Bill Cosby, Tim Conway, and many others.
