Movie: How to Eat Fried Worms

Based on the book by Thomas Rockwell in which eleven-year old Billy goes up against the school bully in a gross-out challenge — to eat 10 worms in one day! Will Billy find the strength to handle this dare without his weak stomach betraying him and his big mouth getting him into even more trouble?

Entomologist Dr. Susan Van Vorhis will present a fascinating program featuring arthropods as well as insect puppets and models. Come for an “up close and personal” look at a few of our six and eightlegged friends and some crunchy crustaceans. You’ll see insect specimens from all over the world and meet spectacular spiders, scurrying scorpions, and monstrous millipedes. You’ll love “being bugged!”
